Im getting really pissed off with the playability of BF2 on my PC, and am on the verge of blowing what little cash I have on a new card/RAM/maybe processor.
My framerate in Vanilla BF2 wobbles between 15-20 fps, and in BF2SF it drops to a horrendous 10-15, and it sorta shows in me stats. Im surprised I made the rank I have
64 player maps are pretty much unplayable unless I play Sniper and sorta skirt around the edges picking off wandering sheep, 32s are pretty well playable but if there's a mad old skirmish with 20 odd players in one place it turns to like playing in treacle
So sod all ya gits out there with hyperfast ownage machines, I wanna hear the worst systems out there that folk can JUST about play BF2 on:
My comps name is BASTARD which about sums it up.
1 gig of RAM, 2 different 512 chips
1.7 amd 2400+
Couldnt care less about the MoBo it cost £15
THE slowest H/D ever (by the time Im loaded 2 flags are capped and a dozen folk have been zapped)
Radeon 9600pro 256mb (clockwork!)
In fact I think I'll just take it outside and reprogram it with a large axe.
Anyone need a doorstop?
