Battlefield 2142..

Will this new BF be the next Halo? Will everyone want it? Idk but looks good, but it has its negatives.. This looks just like "Halo" (For you who dont know what that is, Its one of the biggest games known to the PS2, X-box and Game-Cube). The futuristic armor, weapons, vehicles; will every one forget about Battlefield 2?..

Why do people say " Dont buy Battlefield 2142 untill they fix Bf2 ", theres no point, you know people are going to buy it.. Why fight it. This is the biggest Gaming indestry in the world! Any game they come out with everyone wants /on the most part.. Like, for ex. if you agree with that, then you go look at some goofy video of this game, you mine aswell put the " Dont buy Battlefield 2142 until they fix Bf2 " as your sig because after that movie your not going to want to buy it.. BUT, on the other hand, you get that trailer about the game and its GREAT! --You get the hovercrafts and the invisible guys out there, Thats what everyone wants!

Is this going to take away from all the other PC games? If it does i dont want them to come out with this.. Its going to take the fun out of pwning the noobs on BF-DC or BF2.. This is going to have the invisible whores pwning you right up the ass fast! Forget "jet whores" or "tank whores", you get invisible whores now.. WDF?

PATCHES

Ok, heres the deal.. If they have patches they better be good, im not waisting my time to wait 2-4 hrs waiting for a patch that will make you lagg when I could be playing a lagg free game.. "They try to help but they cant."

RANKS/STATS

If, they have stats or rankings, screw that.. The stats/rankings took away the fun of the game and replaced it with compitition, and pissed of noobs who are jelious cause we pwn them every few seconds..

Just a post to see what you guys think- Am i the only on who thinks this way? Am i weird?

To be honest i dont want to judge the game till i have played it first. I like knowing that i can go invisible but you are not completely invisible. The mechs could ruin it if the rumours have been true about them i can see more mech whores than invisible ones playing it. The thing that also really makes me want to play BF2142 is the new ranking, stats system its going to be good.

Games these days are not played mostly for fun anymore the people who created these games have made it so your competing with everyone e.g. ranking systems.

What im really looking forward to seeing is getting Dog Tagz when you knife someone that sounds awesome but lets not judge the game until we have experienced the game play

Yes with most games patches come in to fix problems and to take advantages that the game play has like when grenade launching was a big thing they needed to patch that up to balance the game out.

Halo was made for the XBox and PC only.It's a Microsoft game so you will never see it for PS2 or Nintendo.

Sorry to break it to ya, but Halo is only available for the xbox and PC.

Your trying to compare a game that you've never played (BF2142) to a game that you apperently know nothing about (Halo).

You should ask this question once you've actually played both games.

that's why people should say that - because the size of the industry means that they can churn out crap and not lose significant profit: people just vacuum up whatever crap they put out. we should vocally fight it precisely to try and generate momentum for a situation in which the games developers are more accountable to their target market.

in other words, they will only produce better products if they know that their customers are dissatisfied - if they don't fear any loss of profits, there's no pressure on them to produce better products.

and besides, how can you say that there's no point when you yourself then go on to say
