Distinguished Service/ Meriterous Unit Ribbons Team Points Help Please

Ok, I am having trouble. trying to obtain my Distinguished Service/ Meriterous Unit Ribbons. I have clocked up enough hours but can not get the ribbon. Can some please explain what exactly is a "Team Point". I am not a noob ( altough it sounds like i am, i know ) but i kill enough, repair, heal etc and most of the time i get 50+ points in the game but still no ribbon. Is a team point only Flag Captures??? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Team point is flag cap, flag cap assist, defend flag point, heal point, resupply point, repair command asset points, kill assist point. etc.

I think anyway. Usual response to this is try medic, on crapkand.
