I personally won't buy the game untill they stop updating battlefield because i like the war style modern day combat rather then the futuristic war, but that's just my opinion i think it would be good to see how many of you are actually going to buy it after playing this game.

I played star wars battlefront up untill bf2, and bf2 is completely what I want.
There is no reason to ever get 2142, unless there are some awesome mods for it and that I am bored.
But I cannot stand the fact the guns wont be real, at least they could have kept modern guns that were actually real, or at least base them off them. Cant stand the looks of these guns.
Horrible because I know what all guns are going to be in bf2 before I use them, but all these new guns, like 40 unlocks thats bloody stupid, they aint real so why bother, if most are the same and they aint real, fuck that shit.
It might have some cool things and features but its definately not for me.

I'll buy it when it comes out, Im a consumer whore. Although i dont like the futuristc concept and lasers and mechs and shit i do like the looks of the movies ive seen. Also i discovered the joys of knifing people about a month ago, and the dogtags thing is pretty sweet.
