Punkbuster: Kicked for Name Violation (30 mins in) ???

What is this meant to mean? As in my name breaks their rules?

This happened approximately 1 or 2 minutes after I had just killed 3 members of a clan in a bombing run (my first bomb run ever, just after I got my basic Aviator!)

I'm thinking this clan may have been the admins (I can't remember the name of the server), and kicked me?? I can't see why though, having not broken any rules, especially not a name breaking law ??

Does this mean all my kills and badge will not be for keeps?

U broke the #1 rule. don't attack admins or they will boot u because your more skilled than them.

Edit: yes u should still get your badges and stats for that round.

I can't think of what may have caused u to be kicked unless it was admin decision in which case it might have been the clans server and it didn't recognice you as a member of the clan and kicked you, im not sure but I don't think you get your kills and badge because you were kicked halfway through the round, however if you finished a round you should get what you got in that round, I think...

Correct... wow I forgot I could have retrieved the server like that!! And yes, the people I killed were along the lines of -BBs- or something... I took a print screen when I killed the bunch when I thought whoa I actually did a bomb run! and then got kicked and took a print screen of that to post here...

on the subject of stats, the only thing that prevents it is if the sertver crashed. and I know becasue i was unfairly kickvoted from a server ( 3 seconds fromthe kickvote being started, to me being kicked. I couldn't even defend myself against the allegation.) and still got the stats. i didn't return to the server, i simply found another.

Cheers everyone... at least I feel a bit better about this all now... well I won't be going there again. It was a great server, no lag and was very full, (about 60) and my ping was about 13, as it was a UK (maybe London... should I pop on the tube and hunt them down ), ah well.

PB can kick you for having illegal characters in your name, but you have to manually insert them via the Global.con file. I'd say it was some noob admins who got mad when you killed them.
