BF2 will let you shoot and move faster just because you're pressing turbo?  Do you have to hold or simply press it once and how long does it last?

apparently if u hold it long enuff u can use super good bf2 soldier muscles and pick up tanks and smash ppl

apparently its quite the nifty tooll... hahaha

Yes, I didn't notice anything but maybe that's because I don't know what the fuck it's supposed to do.  Can someone give a clear answer please?  I know it gives it more voltage and overclocks it, but what does that do for a keyboard and what can it do for BF2?
What exactly are you overclocking in your keyboard?
The extra voltage creates a magnetic surplus.  When striking a key, as the bottom of the key enters the magnetic field it's motion is accelerated and thus, keystrokes are more efficient and ultimately faster than when normal voltage is applied.  I'm not quite sure how I feel about overclocked keyboards though, as it does give an unfair advantage to those who use them.  I keep my keyboard at stock settings due to heat issues, though I will be changing this soon.  I just need a splitter for my watercooling.

Is 1.7 volts too much for a Saitek or should I stick with 1.65v?

I've read that the guys at Tom's Hardware can get theirs to run at 1.86, but you KNOW that they don't have anything better to do with their time than fiddle with it. I personally have my logitec at 1.72V, but I had to break down and get a Zalman copper HS/F for it. I'm not a big fan of water cooling, but the big fins on this one seem to keep the heat at an acceptable level.... No hotter than the bottom of a new Macbook Pro, for example.

one time my roomate accidentally set my keyboard up to 2.45 GHz and it burned his hand so bad he doesn't have fingerprints on his left hand anymore.  so be careful with that shit.

Nice. I read an article on anandtech about a passive cooling using nothing but cooking oil. They got their test G15 up to 1.84. Nothing spectacular, but thats not bad for passive setup.

1.94 is too high... try 1.9, it should reach good stability

im thinking about getting a bigger powersupply, i saw one that had a max load of 1.21 jiggawatz, then perhaps i could push it up past 2.0 volts... and then i would be a god amongst keyboard mortals

All what they told you is bullshit. Upon pressing it, your playing framerate (not necessarilly your graphics framerate, that's why you won't notice so much if you don't know what to look at) is DRASTICALLY increased, so you will run, shoot, do everything much faster (excact rate depending on what speed the keyboard is coded).
Ever saw those guys who seem to be at one place and then instantly at another place, on the way killing you? Excatly that feature.

it wont work 1.9 is the highest ive seen stable... 2.0 is just really pushing it, whats the reaction speed of your keyboard? 180ms? mines on 30

the turbo button accelerates your comp to a whole new dimension.

This, thread indeed is the funniest thread ive looked at.

it gets the flywheel for the reverse interior solenoid power supply in computer.  With the increased revs you get a bus sized voltage jump according to your ABSB wires and firefoxwire jumped over the lazy dog.  Then the lazy dog starts running hence the turbo button
I thought we knew what turbo was for.  When you hit it a bunch of VW lab geeks show up at your door and turbo up your pad.   Or was it Mazda and their zoom zoom button>?

It doubles the voltage to your keyboard, overclocking it to ~4 MHz from the stock 2. Just don't do it too often, or you'll burn out the keyboard.
totally awesome!  I just ordered a liquid cooling kit for mine, OC'd it and it was runnin wicked hot!  Burned my fingers when I touched the keys!
lol
