Thank you for contacting BF2 Support. Teamkilling in Battlefield2 does not violate our terms of service. If people want to take the point penalty, then they are allowed to teamkill. Lots of servers ban players who teamkill and you might want to choose one of them to play on. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Yeah, I agree. The very, very harsh penalty for TKing (equivalent to two or three kills, where in other games it is generally equivalent to one) and the punish-ban system discourages most from teamkilling.

You mean when I get my brains blown out of my head all over the cockpit by a Colonel and he proceeds to rape the carrier and get 100 points? Yeah real harsh 'penalty' there.

Their statement is false, because if they spend the whole round team killing and get -300, it's not hurting their GLOBAL points. Only that rounds points.
