If I posted this in wrong forum, my apologies and feel free to mve to right place

Is it concidered baserape, to shoot down a chopper which is flying (realy flying, with enough time to take off, not just staning on ground) above its (uncap) base?
I agree its anoying to get shot down with not even a chance to evade but I think choppers which are happily flying circles above base are free for hunting

just got banned for doing so, so I was curious of other opinions on this

There is no f*cking baserape at all,there is no such thing!

It's not like you are some kind of vampire or witch and their base is holy ground.

All these admins who ban for baserape are just little kiddies who still play those children's games where you have a BASE and may not be caught,attacked or something in it(don't know how you guys call that in your countries and I can't even remember how I played it when I was a kid,but there is a game like that).

There is no baserape,if they are incapable of keeping their base clear of intruders it's their own damn fault.

I think it's even fair to shoot heliguys out of their cockpits on the helipad,it's just where you choose to attack.

If the enemy can't deal with it(can be every attack you can imagine!) they just suck and maybe should have a look or two at the concept of fighting.
The Art of War by Sun Tzu is a good book for that.When you read it and understood it you'll see why there is no baserape.

On topic: I'd say if a chopper has just taken off its cheap, but if its returning for repairs or is flying around then its not 'rape'.

Typical baserape-whiner: people who never take the initiative - because nobody ever told them to. They are just waiting on the airfields and helipads like lambs to the slaughter and cry baserape.

Basrape rules are for wimps..... Especially on Maps like Wake where only the US has an Uncap..... The PLA Choppers and jets are just supossed to let the US Choppers and jsts take off whenever they feel like it?

Limiting air power is a Logital tactic and since most Runways and Helopads are inside an uncap, limiting attacks on those limits the game severly...... While I'm no fan of Sustained uncap spawn rapage, I deal with it if it happenes because that means my side sucks. If I get takien out when I jump into a Chopper or jet, My bad because I didnt jump into the AA FIrst to make sure it was clear......

Sharquis another great example.... These stupid rules make it perfectly OK to hover behind the TV Station and take out teh Cobra....Itys silly easy to TV the Cobra from a distance that you just cant see the AZ-10 fromt he TV Station... Burt if the Cobra ever gets up, they have no retribution.... They just have to pray they dont get shot down or even damaged because once they do, they are grounded again.

Please no more arguments about baserape, there are hundreds of thread about this subject.

If the server rules doesn't say anything about baserape, then go for it.

If it says no baserape, then leave the server and find another one.

You get kick or banned for baseraping on a server that says no baserape. then its your own fault.

They are plenty of servers out there, so I'm sure we will all find one to our liking wont we.

I agree but part of the fun of base rape is all the screaming and squirming while it is going on.
