Just a heads up to any of you having this problem I just figured out how to solve.
It seems, dead servers in your favorites is a direct link to how long it takes to login.
It used to take me 2 minutes to log in, now it takes 7 seconds.
Go spend the time, once you get in and keep only 10 or so favorites. Hope this saves some of you some time.
Fuck you EA, just because I feel like saying it because I have waited many a times that 2 minutes, just to CTD when finally getting in wasting my precious gaming time!

That makes sense. I have 2 favorites each on my two alternative accounts. And those let me log in within 15 seconds. My main takes 1:30 easy. I'll have to try it.

To me, it also helps if you use the option to auto login using +playerName +playerPassword in the command line.

QFT. I've been using that for months and I never noticed any account server lag.

I wish the server browser wouldn't automatically put servers you play on in there. That's just fucking retarded.

if you still take a while to log in after deleting old favorites, you could also delete your profile in the battlefield 2 folder. i did it and and i log in in like 3 secs. only downside is you have to retreive your account and set all your options and buttons again. but that has worked for me.

souljah, indeed, but basicly because all history files will be deleted too, so no 2.5 seconds for every server anymore.

It can get annoying to delete all servers in history(favorites) but it's worth it.
