Imagine EA/DICE gave you an option to put a exact copy of a real city in BF2 which one would you choose?
Also which 2 sides would you include?

example - New York City - USA vs MEC or TOKYO - USA vs PLA or Baghdad MEC vs PLA

can be any city, large or small - EA/DICE would go out take actual photos of the city to make that map as real as possible

New York 2001, september 11, 8 am. this time round, the US have to shoot down the MEC planes heading for the Twin Towers while the MEC ground forces have to disable the AA, which is heavily defended by US forces.

Ok, so how about this:

MEC: (Spawnpoints uncapturable)

-Spawnpoint 1:
four SU-34's on a carrier (do they even have them? meh it's a game who cares)

-Spawnpoint 2: on the shore, one side of the map

two scout choppers
one jeeps, one Vodnik
two tanks

-Spawnpoint 3: Also on the shore, but closer to the action

one scout chopper
some more jeeps and other transport
two APC's

One Neutral spawnpoint in the middle of a street.

USMC:

-Spawnpoint 1,2,3: The AA sites

AA sites everywhere, on roofs, the ground, in hollowed out sections of buildings, etc. Spread out too.

hmm I don't really know the layout of New York, but I think there'd be plenty of long, straight blocks.

Spawnpoint 4: AA site base (all the USMC ground equipment)

-Five transport vehicles
-Three scout choppers
-Two tanks, one APC, one linebacker

far enough that the MEC can get off the shore into the urban areas and try to get a foothold on the neutral spawnpoint before the armor arrives

Spawnpoint 5: Close to the neutral flag, but only two jeeps for some infantry to spawn to resist the MEC long enough to allow armor to arrive if they fight well. A few sniper spots up in buildings would be sweet too.

The two sides then duke it out in the streets, if the MEC get the neutral flag they get an extra armor spawn and can then move up to the AA sites, fighting out the last part of the map inside buildings to get to the AA sites up on top and capture them, letting the bombers come in to destroy the construction site. If they succeed they win the round, regardless of tickets.
