This one was a while ago, but I found it funny, death then while waiting for a medic, an ammo point promotes me to captain.

Karkand server shooting a guy with a PKM, dont kill him end up getting sniped by a mate, 11 seconds later the guy I was shooting before dies and i rank up on a KILL DAMAGE ASSIST.
To me a kill assist is like saying you did a good job but you sucked so much that someone else had to finish him off.
