Hi,
I found the tip to create little macros with a little tool called Autohotkey. As I always wanted a button to switch between primary and secondary weapon (not necessary you might say but I'd like to have it) I downloaded it, had a look and wrote my own little Macro and compiled it so that I have one .exe that I have to start to get my desired function.

It works real fine (currently just cycling like 2,3,2,3,2,3,... each time I press the F key) in software like Notepad or other editors. But it doesn't in BF2 as it's just the F each time. Back on the desktop it works again...

Do you have any idea of what I do wrong?

I tired to get a macro going just to see if it was easy, unfourtunatly it wasn't so I'll stick to the old fashioned way of doing things.
I wouldn't mind a macro that did the whole switch straight from pilot view to TV gunner view in the choppers though, that'd be useful (not the auto click bit though)

I don't think so. They may be bad if they give you an unfair advantage but I don't see how a custom weapon toggle gives me an advantage besides I'd feel a little more comfortable with needing only one key most the time.
