Hey, just went on to play some bf2 for a buit and i see all the server's with pings of 1800 or more, just wondering what i can do to fix this, restart re hooked up internet cable or just wait it if, if it is in fact temporary
its not really that bad when u join a game i average 35-115 ping
EA messed that one up.. It never happened to me untill after Patch 1.3
Are you positive this is an EA problem, it was fine last night and then i just went on to play and once again all of the server pings where in the 1000's. If it is a 1.3 problem i have yet to experience, i mean I have expereicne the crashes and the extreme lag that goes along with the patch as has almost everyone else, but this is something that i haven't run into before.
Very annoying as well cause the one day i don't work i haver no chance of playing BF2, anyone else had similar problems?? and if its not an EA related problem anyone know how i can try to curb it?

u serious?the highest you seen with 1.3 is 1800? ive seen pings where the number gos of the thing

Disconnected (actually i got kicked for having a ping over 1000 rofl)
Well I pressed Ctrl+shift+esc and then ctrl+alt+del and checked for background stuff and firewall)
Connected to a different server and I still had pings going to 500 so i stood still for about 5 minutes and it settled after that
I've been having a lot of ping spikes lately
