If BF2 aimbots are like the BHD ones (which they most probably are) you press a hotkey to automatically aim at the nearest enemy player. It can be coded to aim at the leg, chest, head, where ever there may be individual hitboxes.
I read some time ago about a guy that uses an aimbot and the rest of the hacks (enemy tags, chams etc) and he still frequently smashed his fist onto the desk because he died all the time. Quite amusing really.

okay, now to the topic at hand, it is true that punkbuster can be bypassed but in my oppinion bf2 is one of the less hacked games ive played. i do play gunz so that is a verry big differece, but i love to report the hackers becuase i get items that are exclusive to some people.

from the vids ive seen its the actuall gun. the hackers do kind of slim down on recoil because every shot it locks back on.
It doesn't Re-Lock, it STAYS locked on the whole time. And the recoil doesnt matter much as there is not much recoil in any gun but the pistol anyway.
