im trying to connect to my acnt and it keeps saying connecting to account server with the number 2 icon swirling.... i come back 5 minutes later, and its the normal bf2 mouse icon but it still says connecting to accnt, i reset my comp and tried again. still wont connect. help?

thats not dealing with same problem, i cant even get on bf2 once i load i try connecting to acnt and it wont connect.
Same thing happened to me just now. Gave up. Will try again tomorrow!

yup, taking agis for me two log in, must be very busy
Five minutes is not forever, wait longer.
If you have to wait that long, I really suggest you clean out all the servers in your favorites lists. It takes ages but you should connect to account server in 3-15 seconds thenFlaming_Maniac wrote:

OK they are back up and running...try logging in now
Add Bf2.exe to ur firewall or virusscanner > "save programms".

Delete all your favourites (well keep the 2-3 that are actually your favourite) I did that, was getting same problem after it getting in within 20 seconds, though still get ctd, THERE IS NO ESCAPING THAT!

1. Go to My documents
2. Cut the BF2 folder out
3. paste on your desktop
4. start bf2
5. retrevie your account
6. add favs again
Try SEARCHING aswell as there are 1231413123,123423543 topics on this subject
make sure your not downloading any thing also.
