- Dice why are you punishing good aimers and rewarding the bad aimers
I quit the game for 2 months after the release of 1.12 (or whatever that patch was that nurfed infantry movement, GL, C4, BH etc)
If more infantry movemnt nurfing occurs I will be quiting the game for good. FUCK EA and their BULL SHIT. How the fuck can they justify changing the game so much when users already have 4000 hours getting used to it.
Fuck all you n00bs that complained about getting pwned by sharp shooters causing ea to do this.

i swear to fucking god, the hit boxes in this game are fucked up.
Do you even understand what an MD5 hash is? There's no way an MD5 hash can prevent macros. In fact there is no "effective" way to prevent macros from being run client side. The reason is because the macro is not running within the game itself. That means the game would have to look at all the processes running on your computer to see if you are running a macro program. Plus, there are many different macoro programs out there. The game would have to be constantly patched to include new ones when they come out and it is very easy to code custom macros without a program. So, it would basically be futile.Krysiss wrote:
Is it so hard to come up with a better idea, like to make a MD5 hash for punkbuster to eliminate the macro's instead hardcoding into the game and by doing that punishing the good aimers ingame.
...
There are alots more examples to ban macro's out of the game instead using a MD5 hash
but adding delay ingame is just another overnerf like the BH or c4 chuking
Plus, I would be VERY opposed to any program searching through my active processes to try and find one it finds objectionable. There are already many games that will not run if they detect software that allows you to mount an image - I believe BF2 has this. That is total BS in my opinion. The game already restricts you from runningg multiple instances of it under the same account. Why must we put the disc in as well? One or the other, but not both!
not allowing someone to shoot immediately when going prone or when coming up is not nerfing in my opinion. If you are a better aimer, then you should be able to kill your opponent without having to do either.
Now that is a possible solution. The delay feature is annoying, but it actually makes more sense from a realism perspective. But, I would go along with this one.mUnKi_UnKel wrote:
Why not have PB just kick a user if the go prone, crouch, or stand up more than like 50 times in 30 seconds.
Agree 100%.DBBrinson1 wrote:
If that's what it takes to be at the top, I'm happy here at the bottom. I'd make myself sick doing that crap.
That may be true but how the hell am I supposed to kill all 3 enemy soldiers at close range when there are delays like this have been added in. Anyway you have 3k kills with assault rifle with a K/D ratio of 1.07, I can see why you would say that. Over all my accounts I have 14,000 with K/D Ratio 2.09.not allowing someone to shoot immediately when going prone or when coming up is not nerfing in my opinion. If you are a better aimer, then you should be able to kill your opponent without having to do either.

About MD5: I don't really see how you would use md5-hashes to prevent this kind of thing. With md5-hashes you can check if files have been altered etc. Besides that MD5 is known to have a weakness for collisions. Check this paper (pdf-file) if you want more in-depth info.
in the video of volx it could be a macro or it could not be. i do that stuff manually without any macro programs, its not very hard to do so, you just gotta have fast fingers
Heres how you do the prone spam that volx was doing : control to Z repeatedly (its that simple..), to do it while strafing, hold down a or d while doing the same thing. Theres also one where you move forward while in the sprint speed doing this, to do so you do: Start sprinting by holding down W and Shift, then, hit Z while doing so, while your prone, release the shift key and hit control, after you hit control, put a finger back on shift and repeat (you should not still have any fingers on Z or Control at this point, and you should still be holding W through the whole process)
Dolphin Dive Manually: Control then Z and then hit the space bar, while in mid air hit Z and repeat the process
and it just wont all work if your not fast enough with the keyboard

Or they can make a own keyboard/mouse driverAD_Kensan wrote:

or ban the program who can set up and use macró's (in the taskbar)
but you can't spamm it all round do you ,because you would brake your fingers or get RSI or somethingeagles1106 wrote:

No way I am turning my computer over to EA. We all know what happened with the Sony Rootkit-Incident. It's just not practical. The problem is that you can actually do these movements without macros so how do you distinguish the two? Should they even be distinguished? etc. It's not a simple task to "ban" something from the game that clearly is not "fun for everyone" as I like to call it.Krysiss wrote:

Yes, I just watched the video and was thinking the same thing. What the fuck volx???XinLoiC4 wrote:
stupid question, but i dont get the sense of volx's action:
why is he proning all the time?????, actually there are no enemys in his reach, no one is shooting at him!!?
pls enlight me!
I know about the rootkit accident one of the reason I don't by sony lcd screens or what so ever but they can make own mouse/keyboard driver and if you start BF2 it will take over or protect it against macro using.AD_Kensan wrote:

I only know if there is macro team out there, they would be disgrace of the clan community.
and they will not regain respect.
