Ricardo - Israel bombed the airport and the bridges to seal off the area from supplies. The next step is prevent access to alternative supplies. Lebanon should be pissed at the Israelis - but they should ALSO be pissed at the Hez. They involved themselves politically with an organization which is anti-Israeli, and extremist. Israel is attacking the support structure for that organization. I feel Lebanon is paying the price for not dealing with this situation themselves.
If you want to argue for more pinpoint bombings you have a point there - but the depot was a target, so choose again. Both sides are not managing the collateral damage well...Israel just has bigger better bombs and more of them.
It seems to me that the Hez is intent on being martyred. I think their goal is to inflict as much damage on the Israelis, and to hope Israel inflicts more damage on the arab population to rally the region. I find it ridiculous that people would consider this as a viable option to fight a conflict - lets take everyone down with us. I am beginning to believe that the Hez is hoping for the nuke - it would fit all their goals...
