OK, before you guys say anything, I've searched this numerous times.

I'm not after "My sticks better than yours" or any crap like that, all I wanna do is use my Evo ingame for flying jets and helos.

I have installed and re-installed the latest drivers, and it said on Saitek site that for BF2 I won't need SST to use it. So why won't BF2 detect it in the options menus?

The control panel thingy detects it fine, and all the buttons, axis throttle rudder work great, but BF2 wont detect it

Any fixes? Or better still, can someone send me a copy of thier Saitek Cyborg Evo Force Profile and secondary key mapping?

Thanks in advance

u dont need a profile or something simply adjust keys in options menue.
example: nose down, pull the stick and so on (sorry for my bad english)

I've set the deadspots up to correct the apparent drift, but when in the BF2 options menu, I select a key to bind to stick, and it doesn't show up. Any ideas?

I've got the same joystick, and the only problem I had was working out defining up down etc.

You don't need SST to use the Joystick with BF2, so all i can suggest is uninstall the jnoystick, then re-install.

My Saitek Evo drifts to the right during takeoff.  I ignore it.

I have the EVO non-force and had no problems.
You don't need the SST for it to work. However you DO need the latest SST/drivers for SST to work with WinXP and BF2.

When configuring the joystick, just clicked the secondary button (eg roll right secondary) and then moved the joystick right. Or nose up and then pull back on the stick.

As for drift, it seems this is normal. You must calibrate the stick everytime you join a server. Fortunately this is very easy to do: Once  in-game move your joystick through all 4 axes (sp?), this reminds the USB controller of the voltage range of your joystick.

I'll try updating SST again, but BF2 doesnt recieve any input from stick, none of the controls at all... Even the buttons on the base...

I might cry now!
