I tried to install Limewire Pro and it thinks Limewire is still running in the background. I use Ctrl-Alt-Delete, nothing. Restart the comp and try again, same message, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, nothing. Please help.

Nvm, it works now. That was the official Limewire Pro, scanned the installer with AVG, nothing hostile. It just doesn't work because it's missing some stuff.

Lime-wire is very dangerous, but you already knew that. Learn how to use Usenet.
If you can get AVG Free, get latest update, disable your Internet, and run it.
When I didn't know any better I used Lime-wire. I had something disable my admin rights and I couldn't do certain things. I had Sophos and Norton installed.. AVG was the only thing that cleaned it up (Funny it's free and it worked better). http://free.grisoft.com/doc/avg-anti-vi … /us/tpl/v5
Task Manager can also be opened by going to Start-Run and entering taskmgr . If you have the rights.

Norton is by far one of the worst piece of shit software programs of any kind that i've ever used. It doesn't ever detect anything and it's WAY too suspicious of harmless files.
Next time try Ctrl-Shift-Esc before you freak out. That'll take you straight to the processes menu.
