How many of you guys forgive someone if you are tk'd cause it sometimes pisses me off when i get punished for something that couldnt be helped. Such as throwing grenades, and seeing some n00b on my side watch me throw it and then decide to go near as it blows up, then they punish me it was his fault he got killed, or such as when your a sniper and you put claymores on top of ladders, they should check first before rushing up the ladder and then it wouldnt go off in there face causing a punish to you. I get real fed up of it cause really it some n00bs fault. Ive been kicked before cause of some idiots not watching what there doing.
I know how frustrating it can be when you have a punish against you, i bet you yell at the monitor sayin "WHAT THE HELL DID THEY PUNISH ME FOR!"
So i do forgive if the mistake was genuinly my fault and dont just do a random punish for no reason

yeah it does annoy me, before i punish i wait the 15 sec i'm dead to see if they say sorry or revive me also i check their score to see if they have minus scores and are tk'ing on purpose.

I almost always forgive for a team kill unless I was killed for a jeep/tank or plane. If my dumbass unknowingly ran into the line of fire, it was my fault. I wasn't aware of my surroundings and it wasn't the other players problem. Also I won't punish if I get run over by and APC when I step out of the alleyway and get flattened -those things don't stop on a dime or handle like a sports car. I do get a little pissed when a team mate runs around the corner guns blazing, and TK's me, big problem on Iron Gator, but I don't punish if he hits the sorry button while I waiting to respawn.

i don't get punished too much... but if i do it's like you said... often not my fault.

some times it's my fault a bad judgment on my side, but it is never !!!!!!!!!!! intentional
i believe the punish is meant for those who intentionally team kill for a plane chopper or wheels

why punish your own team? it's a game meant for team play, so be a team player

i always forgive no need to set some poor guy back a few points
unless in is intentional and for the second or third time...

if it was intentional, il punish.

also, if it wasnt intentional, and it pissed me off, and they didn't say sorry, il punish.

its annoying when they dont say sorry its like they make out its ur fault especially when they jump in the way of friendly fire or stand near c4 that could go off any second

I always forvive for the first one (unless blatently intentional). After that it depends on the circumstance and if there was an apology.

i used to punish loads... but now i have seen the error of my ways and forgive lots of the time i do the same thing where i see if they say sorry if they dont and it could have been intentional.. PUNISSH!!

i was playing warlord and placed c4 on the uav... some bumb@ss was standing there waiting for a the grass to grow... i ended up waiting and waiting for him to leave so i could blow it up.

i could have been shot waiting for him and loose the advantage of them not having uav... he'd probably punish me because it's pretty common to do so

i hope the punish button get scraped with the 1.4 patch and leave the kicking to the admin

I dont punish either unless it is deliberate,How come there is no record of how many punishes / or not a player has as this would be a good indication of a good team player or AFUCKEN ASSHOLE.

thats a cool idea that, it wud seperate the cool players who cud tell if it was there fault or not, and the people who just punish for no reason at all

The punish function is for server admins.......you can set the amount of punishes to auto kick a constant Tk'er

you dont get any extra minus points......weather you punish or forgive you still get -4

if you kill someone with guns you usually get -6 because you get a team damage first, then a teamkill. You ALWAYS get -4 for the teamkill. The only thing that punishes are good for are to kick people after X amount of them on servers that have it enabled.
