Ok, yay! My battlefield is back to its former glory.
Ok so now you must think like WTF is that retard talkin about.
Well since recently my PC took 8 FRIGGIN minutes to load a server, it turned out that my HD was set to the lowest possible speed, PIO or something like that.
Now my dad turned it up to somelike Ultrad DMA mode 5, so now it only takes like 2 minutes w00t!! Which is pretty fast given the fact the damn thing is 5 years old..and only has a 1.74 ghz CPU with 1 gig of ram.
So just wanted to share this.

My harddrive first ran on its lowest possible speed PIO, and now its running on the fastest Ultra DMA mode 5 or something like that.
@ king county, yeah he was busy doing stuff in the BIOS, but I just sat there trying to figure out what he was doing, and the one thing I rememberd was about the HD, if the changes he made in the BIOS made any difference, I don't know..
