Hey, I just got an extreme 3D pro joystick, and I set it all up with BF2 and shit, you know..

And well, it sucks.. I cant control it at all, because its inverted, how the hell do I make it not inverted?

I have the joystick and i have no propblems with it, and it is a Force Feedback joystick, BF2 doesnot support Force Feedback although now that it is FF it has motors controling it and not a spring which means you dont get uncontroleble drift, download the lastest drives and tweak them to how you want them.

Swich it to inverted in the Driver options that you are or just downloaded. Its a dam good joystick better then the plastic crap with springs in it.

the joystick isnt the problem, i have the same type, of course i like it inverted

I cant find anything about inverting in the profiler (the thing the drivers installed)

Im not at home right now so i cant tell you excatly were it is, but i thik its under Game Controlers, the section were you can turn the FF on and off you may also want to try unpluging the Power Pack and using it it is a lot smother that way give it a try on a LOCAL SERVER (LAN).

oh god thinking of your troubles makes me shiver....... i got one and it took me weeks to figure out, i finnaly got it perfect...

you must make sure that when you are entering for example "pitch left" you must move your joystick left and even tho it will say duplicate allready in controls or something you must still move your joystick right in the "pitch right" section.... if you want PM me and i will screen shot my setup and you can copy that

well i think the problem is the one who use it ..i like joystick its comfortable to fly jet you can go up side down...even in heli

so, instead of doing it one way for both of them and it showing up as axis 3 for example, I should do axis 3 for both of them? ill pm you

you don't need to install it. Just plug it in and you're ready to go.

Pulling joystick back = nose up.
pushing joystick forwards = nose down.

That's how it is.

For the controls, click on Pitch forward/down move the stick forward. You are now good to go, pitch back/up is already mapped to the axis that you tilted on the joystick. Most games detect the axis that you tilt in regardless of what direction, in BF2 however, you need to explicitly move the joystick in the direction to configure it properly.
