I'll tell you one thing I do to help get wins (did this to help get the WCR before the requirements changed), because the percent of servers that you can "team switch" on is really low and you probably won't get a good map or server if you only look for ones that allow switching (10%?): What I do is, before I click "join server", I'll look at the teams to see which one "looks" like they are winning (since you can't be sure since you can't see the tickets). Then I'll join when it looks like I'll be put on that team or not based on whether there's an odd/even number of players on the server already. Know what I mean? Hard to explain in email. For example, if the British look to be winning on Ghosttown, I'll wait until there is an even number of people then I'll click on "Join server". If the Russians look to be winning, then I'll wait until there's an odd number to join.
It doesn't always work but it works a lot of the time. Now that I've had my WCR for awhile, I don't do it to get a win perse`, as much as I do it to help me score more points to rank up quicker (since I don't play but 45 min/day) and not get spawn raped a ton............plus, if I play with my clan mates, I have 90% confidence that we're going to win all of the games we play since we'll play as a team, can use VOIP, and have good strategy for certain maps.
