I know that badhq made a tutorial about how to change your BF2 name but i cant find (Ive searched) and please could somebody find it for me i would be very grateful, or could badhq replay back.

The usernames are based off gamespy. EA has no control over if they can be changed or not. EA has mentioned this before. Gamespy was the reason it took so long to be able to get the clan prefix option before your name as well - it's all on their end. At least, that's what EA says.
Doesn't matter then, but i really wanted to change my BF2 name. Does anyone else want to change there name.

The only way to change your name is to make a new account with another email address that you use, but that means that you will have to start from scratch with ALL of your stats. You will be able to play using either player name.

Remove first 3 letters from original name
Remove 2 letters fromoriginal name and
Remove 1 st letter of original name
It also explaind that u can add invalid characters to Prefix
thingslike @!"£$%^&**())_+ ~@# << any off this can be add it
But you can not change your full name unless u create new account.
