Has anyone played on these servers?I discovered these servers recently and have to play them more due to sub 100 pings I get here.However compare to GameCentre servers most of the people who play here are the worst non-team playing players.Half the damned team is sitting at the MEC SU34 spawn on Clean Sweep , while Im alone with my poor T90 defending the damned northern airfield from Blackhawks , Boats , Cobras and even F15's.There was just 2 other guys out of 32 players in my team who were actually defending points.The rest were just camping in the Su34 spawn.Guess I'll go back to GameCentre who generally have much better team-oriented players inspite of getting 250 pings.
Anyone played on the EA TH servers?

uh yeah, because they're the closest geogrpahically to me. it's EA Thailand, btw. I'm practically across the street from these servers, so really good ping. The bad thing is there is EXCELLENT teamwork, only if you speak thai though. otherwise you're better off wolfing it or grabbing some friends.

yep after having played a few more rounds I've changed my mind
Teamwork is there for sure on both friendly and enemy as well.I was flying a cobra and another cobra was behind me providing cover in Dragon valley and we both encountered a combined Chinese arms assault involving apcs , tanks and infantry.Luckily both our chopper made mince-meat of the armor and we won the map by 5 tickets
BTW I live in India as indicated by the sig.Still waiting for those long-awaited EA Singapore servers.

I wish I could play on the TH servers, but Im in the US rite now and my ping is about 400 there ; ;

would be nice to play with some Thai people.

Played there recently too... good games most of the time but recently I got pissed with a whole squad of stat padders on the 16 player TH servers... Ton??? and a whole other buinch of ??? (??? coz I don't remember the numbers it was really really really late/early in the morning ) Called for artillery strike on their asses and the commander artilleries MY ass .... ... mutiny didn't work either as not enough votes.

He had like 70 or so kills 0 deaths.... The msg's just showed him killin' the same dude over and over and over again every sec ... damn that was lame ... team of 4-5 i think... I shudda screen save but too blur and sleepy so i just played on the Game Arena servers...

Anyways, mostly TH is fine so &*^% it right ...

uh... there are singaporean servers lol... EASG@Pagn.net

PAGN.NET hosted my fav. UT2k4 server, then they had a BF2 demo server which i played on, and then EA gave them a few servers so just type in EASG into the filter.

you could also try EATW (taiwanese).

bad thing with EA TH servers is that there are sooo many people trying to get in that the moment there's a free spot, 50 poeple have already pressed connect before you.

hell, on RO:Thailand there's an estimated 56,000 players at any given time of the day, CS and CS:S around the same, BF2 less but a lot as well.

the government here encourages kids to play computer games. It's better than drugs.

sorry bout the necro but...

for the FIRST time on the EA TH servers, I had a legit knife fight.

I snuck up on a sniper, but he turned around and shot at me with his M95. I charged, he ran away, saw my knife and to my utter surprise, took his out. My heart was racing with glee, most people would just snipe my 3 bars off and be done with it. We battled it out for a full minute, with me ending in victory.
First thing he said after he died. "Thanks, Nice fight". A returned my gratititude and got killed by his teammate.

If you've ever played on EA TH and can't speak Thai, this is amazing.
