I got my 300+ on sharqi legit, and without commanding or using the chopper. It was 6v6, lasted about an hour and a half, and all I did was drive around as a sniper capping flags and the 6 dumbasses on the USMC team kept trying to cap TV station back which is where my 2 gaymores got left every time I died or got a resupply.
Someone else I play with has a 300+ on Sharqi too just from chopper whoring the top of tv station the whole round as gunner. If people are dumb enough to keep spawning in the same place or keep using the same routes no matter how many times they get wasted then big scores really arent that hard to get.

if that is indeed how you did it (and i believe you, ive been in some multi-hour games), it's bull that EA would reset you. I have not gotten that high before, but have gotten over 300 twice. both were on karkand, huge map, small players, i was medic, took about an hour and a half each time, but the commander, i believe, in situations like that could get 460 easy.

while my pc doesn't have the ability to record anything of that length, over 200 is easy, just go to any 24/7 map thats 64 man size with 16 people, two hours later.......

Is not capping but just neutralising flags against the ROE? it mentions High point servers but how do they define that??? avoiding ticket bleed with no time limit makes the round last a long ole time ... point farm to 200+ ftw.

besides, in a certain set of circumstances its quite possible to get dominated before completing a flag cap, arty or what have you, that's most defaintely not against the ROE, have this happen a fair few times and your on yer way to blowing the no 460 round outa the water.

my brs is a 415 on sharqi (the commander that round had 350) chopper whoring ftw
ive also joined like 100 tickets in to a round on sharqi and gotten 164/2 k/d in chopper so i think thats the best bet, just get a good pilot and some communication

There are so many ways to get over 500points in a round its rediculous.

Even a commander on any of those maps can get a good score its rediculous, if your team all has scores of like 400 which i have seen on 64player server running 64 player maps with only one spwan point left for the other team and everybody raping it then your going to get alot of points + a 2x bonus, thats how i got mine.

Sorry I don't have a video of it, but the other day I was playing on a 64 player karkand map with 10 people in it. It was mostly a stalemate, but in the end we won and the commander wound up with something like 380 points. It was all legit and there was no stat padding involved. After seeing that I'm pretty sure that in the same situation someone could get 460 without too much of a problem.

By no means do I consider myself a good player but if the circumstances are correct (server size, players, no time limit, commanding with a superb team) high scores are easily attainable.

I scored 222 on such a game and can't see why someone as experienced as KontrolCrimson can't score 460.

EA must be so unbelivably naive if that's why they've reset his stats.

Sounds great! I think a lot of people can do 200 BRS.

But that is a far cry from 460 BRS which I would think ify as well.

Was that early in the game when it first came out?

I do not think you can get 460 BRS today with the latest patch on a ranked server. I know I could be wrong it is just that I cannot inagine it and have never seen it done in the hundreds of hours I have played.

I did it a long time ago, LEGIT. 448 points on a *true* 64 player server (not a high point or knife/pistol) which only had about 12 people in it. Round lasted FOR EVER. I was in the tank as engie, and 2 apcs rode beside me the whole map. Had like 35 repair points alone. Had over a 100 kills that round, plus mad flags caps. I had a similiar situation the round before it, with a 300 and something point round. It can be done, if the circumstances are right. Out of 1370+ hours of ranked play i've only had those 2 rounds beat the 300 point mark. The length of time to fraps a movie of a round that takes like a hour and a half would take up MAJOR harddrive space. If I happen to find a server with battlerecorder on and get a similiar situation i'll download it and save it.

My 3rd best was on Mash before they changed it so only the pilot capped the flag. I was support and the guys kept on chucking grenades while we capped flags. I had a 229 point round on the Mash one.

I feel for ya crimson. Part of my reset dealt with my abnormal round scores as well. Blackhawks and 1.02 ftw.

Thats because EA testers and players suck. They spend most their time yelling at DICE to fix the glitches that they never play. And its obvious the testers suck cause of all the imbalances in the game to begin with.

As for the thread topic:

I got my BRS of 313 on Warlord straight up medic whoring. You gotta have a somewhat descent Insurgent team to keep the round going. Plus i'm deadly with the G36E.

I got my BRS of 436 on Karkand as the MEC commander. Of course it was only 20 players on a 64 player map.

To make sure it's 100% ROE and a long round, you could get 10 players on a 64 player server and kickvote any new people who show up to keep the round length high. The ROE specifies the lowest maxPlayers, but it doesn't say you can't instantly kickvote anyone who shows up.

If a tactical decision to neutralise flags and move on to the next one was adopted that should also be permissible by the ROE.

Just a few ideas, I've not managed it myself, but I do think it would be possible. This could be the BF2 answer to the Tetris grand finals video: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc … p;q=tetris If EA made tetris, that guy would have been reset long ago

Also I wonder if there any way to trawl battlerecorder files for games you didn't play? Maybe the video to clear your name is already gathering dust on a server somewhere....

Yeah, really... I have a B.R. of 230, and I'm nowhere near the "cream of the crop" of BF2 players. My B.R. is legit, and from a Mashturr round where everyone on my team was horrible, and I somehow managed to bring us through it by doing pretty much everything. Everything except command that is. I believe we had a decent commander.
