Need I say more...thank you for agreeing with me.
The market still works independent of the government. It wouldn't collapse if the government ceased regulation, therefore it works independently. As long as buyers buy and sellers sell, the market will continue. My two statements were not mutually exclusive.

I agree mate, but well technically they are, .  The goverment plays a role therefore the market is not independent of it, you only stated that if the government ceased regulation than it wouldn't collapse.  That is an assumption.  (Albeit I agree with you) Your two statements were very mutually exclusive.

You said the market is INDEPENDENT of the government, well you even admit it plays a role, that means it is NOT INDEPENDENT but it does have the potential to be.

On-line politics on gaming message boards- where eight year-old kids from Bangladesh know just as much as anybody else about the American government and its figures! This is almost as effective as arguing religion over the Internet. I personally don't think I could find anything better to do with my time...

Has anyone here done any public speaking? If so then you know that it comes easy for some folks, and is very hard for others. For me its not a big deal, but I have seen some of the smartest folks screw up every other word when trying to give a speech. So can we judge his IQ by his public speaking? I don't think so. As far as him being a good leader, he is much better then the last one (slick willy) we had. Sadly we have not had a great Leader since Reagan. God forbid we get a left leaning President with the way the world is now, what we need is someone in the middle.

I won't address your points on leadership nor on the other presidents you've named. The topic here is Bush and his intelligence.

Since we have no insider knowledge of Bush, we must judge his intelligence through that which is available on the public record. At present, this would at least include:

- his competence in performing duties required as per the terms of his employment
- his demonstrated skill for communication
- his demonstrated vocabulary
- his college transcript
- his standardized test scores

Perhaps you could suggest additional areas to consider as well?

3) his standardized test scores
1) The nature of this, sometimes, is not readily available to the public, somewhat hard to use this to assess someone's intelligence.....

2) Last time I checked, He did fairly well.

3) Same as 2, he did pretty well on the SAT's, almost the same as I scored.  Big deal.

"You're doing a hell of a job Brownie"

"Mission Accomplished."

Do these statements ring a bell.  Judge his intellegence now!

Add these.
Does he masturbate at work? Would this get some one fired in the private sector?

Do you masturbate in class?

did he masturbate when his country was attacked ?

puts it in a different light don't it

Judge his intelligence now.

Bush is an idiot and his friend Aznar is idiot too, of course.
Their friendship cost to the Spanish people 200 deaths in the 2004's islamic terrorism attacks in Madrid.
We dismissed our president for it... when american people will do the same?

You must realize that the emplacement of such a person comes with the underpinnings of a secret society constructed with a bases (that's bay-seez; plural form, basis) for the perpetuation of power-wielding, high-class positions within the American community. Considering how such typics (the general people [deal with it I just conceived a new conjugation of a word {it's proper, so go cry}]) haven't the backdrop to rely upon, I would think it safe to place yer coinage upon a wager with its roots in the idea that his achievement was one made without support of his own independent endeavorment.

An idiot would believe one man made up the US Presidency.

The elected leader of the free world is an idiot?... Given America's current position in the world what does that make the other nations?

Oh wait I have the answer..pissed

Hitler was one of the most charismatic and smoothest public speakers in history, while churchill often had to spend days and days working on his speeches, practicing them in private for hours, the local law school just recently had a guest speaker doing lectures on the similarities between bush and churchill, as well as the similarities between bush's opposition and Neville chamberlain
