Ok, first of my humble apologies if this may have been posted before.

I discoverd this "cheat" awhile back ago and started to test it so I could know for sure that im right.
Well...I am.

Your playing a game, your on the best killing streek of your life BUT your team is sucking some hard donkey balls. Your tickets go down like fly's and you feel you deserve to win this round just because your teammates are complete idiots *we've all been there*.

You search for a oppertunity to change to the winning team but their team is full. Shit.
No need for any tears! Because I have the solution!

When your tickets are about to hit 2 or 5 or something, make sure you DIE.

Thats right. Die! Now open the spawnscreen and start clicking the winning's team Tab like mad!

*example : Your MEC, USMC is winning, Click the USMC tab like mad*

When your tickets finally hit zero and the match is over, you WILL hear the "losing theme" but you ARE on the winning team!
Its scary but true, I play on 32 player servers and whenever I do this the winning team has 17 players and the losing team has 14 players *weird huh?*.

The next round either somebody gets booted or gets switched to the losing team cus 17 players isnt possible in a match.

I know, switching teams is lame. Get over it. Its not like I do it constantly.

I hope this helps your win-lose score.

I think if you get the losing theme, you've lost the round already.. before you're actually on the team.. not sure though :S

Nope, not true. You get the losing theme but everything else will say your on the winning team. Lets say youve earned a silver star, it will say

[Silver Star Picture] Sgt.Gh0st [American Flag]

And stuff like that, next round youll even begin on the Winning team's side.

This won't work--the team you've played the most on will count as the team you played as, so that means even if you switch at the end it still counts as a loss

is this true?

Meaning if I would play 70% ofd the match as MEC and change to USMC the last couple of minutes.
I'd get get a lose on my stats?

This passes with my ingame ethics, it's not really team-hopping, you did all you could.  The team-hopping is peopel who try to switch to the winnign to try and finish off the losing, so you end up with a 21v9 round...This doesn't sound too bad...

this wont work for your stats, it is based on how long youve played for a team...

also, if you join a server for x amount of time, then leave you will get a recorded loss if the team you were on losses (not sure if the same happens for a win, could only confirm the loss)

Personally, I find it of poor ethics to team hop at the last second just to be on the winning team. I've had my deal of frustration being on the losing team when I completely kicked ass but my team sucked royal, but I've only actually switched teams to end up on the winning team three times in my BF2 career. The only other time I switch teams is to get on the same team with my friends when we're playing online together.

I can understand every decent player's frustrations though. Often I can get the gold star on the server and completely dominate the other team in combat, but my team is dropping like flies and letting bases slip through their fingers that it doesn't matter and the team still loses. I'd say that more than a third of my gold, silver, and bronze stars were received when I was on the losing team. It doesn't matter if you have one or two star players on your team, if you have an inexperienced team of idiots you'll still lose. However, one good functioning squad working cooperatively with the commander can often make all the difference. Whenever my friends and I play together online, if there are at least three of us together in a squad, chances are that we will be on the winning team 90% of the time. One example comes to mind. Me and 2 of my friends joined a game in Mashtur over half-way through the round after every base but one was lost. Our team lost by 138. Next round we won by 130 and there were no player swaps, disconnects, or players added to the server during this round. This just goes to show what an organized squad can do.

So do you find this method right/fair or not?

I don't think that I would ever attempt to try your team-swapping technique. I think on some occasions I could feel justified about it, but I probably still wouldn't do it. Personally, I think it's a bad idea. However, I think what might fix the solution is that if you are on the losing team and you still managed to get a gold, silver, or bronze star for the round that the loss shouldn't count against you. In this case, the player wouldn't receive a loss for the round but they also wouldn't receive a win either. I know this probably will never happen, but I think something along these lines would reward those players who did everything they could to achieve victory, but still lost as a result of their team's incompetence.

I have heard of a guy who switches near the end of a round when his team is losing so that he doubles up on points.  It had, frankly, never occured to me to try that.  I have never switched teams, except to get on the side where some buds are playing so I can squad with them.  I usually just stay on whatever team the comptuter puts me on and do my best to contribute to the victory of my 'side' unless I'm working on a specific badge task.

Another suggestion if your team is consistently losing despite your best efforts:

Rather than team hop at the end of the round, why not simply disconnect from the server and find another server to play on where the teams are more evenly balanced. This is a simple solution, and the one I usually resort to if I'm getting overly annoyed by the incompetency of my team.

They call that BunnyHopping.....if no one has ever joined a server that kicks people for bunnyhopping.

so if I play the whole match on the winning team and at the last 10 minutes I get switched by autobalance to the other team and lose, will I get a win in my stats?

Yes, this is a good method to increase you W/L ratio, yet I only switch teams (to the winning side) if they have less players, to even it out (great explination!)
