I read this air defense article somewhere below and was wondering...

is it possible to just drive around in a linebacker and gun down 11 ppl and get the air defense ribbon?
(since the linebacker is considered air defense)

Or can i only use the missles mounted on it?

(if i can only use missles)
can i only get the ribbon by killing airplanes with the missles or can i kill ground soldiers aswell?


Somebody go though the painful hours of researching this becuase i am a very very lazy person..haha

(Ive always been bad with stingers and such so im tryin to figure out an alternative)

Yes.

But first you must waste nine rounds in the stingers, sitting there waiting and waiting and firing and missing and scratching and missing and getting punished for teamkilling your own jet somehow and ending the rounds with two kills and eighteen deaths and cursing the game and EA for making the stingers useless and almost give up playing the game.  Only then can you jump in a linebacker, get your kills with infantry and win the ribbon. 
At least, that's how I did it.

yes, you can get it with AA vehicle killing ppl
