you must be kidding... not so hard if u putt a little effort in to it... explosives ... and repair vet... thats HARD
basic knife and basic pistol even the vet ones ... there pretty simple... got my basic knife and pistol in the same round.... and thats when i still was a newb!!! Try playing karkand... 18-32 people on a 64 slot server... if the commander uses the UAV u will have no problem getting these badges... run around where u normaly se players sneaking about... and dont safeplay... it´s so much harder... se a player run by run after him with knife... and if your having trubble... be a bitch an bunny-hopp a bit...

All I'm trying to say is that any badge you don't have is difficult to get. There are also easy ways of getting the hard badges. Try getting an expert explosives on a 16/16 player map... I don't even think it's possible.

Vet knife basic knife, yeah they are both 7 kill one just has a total kills associated with it. But if he only got his basic that means he has killed over 14% of the total people he has ever killed with a knife in one round. I think we are all forgetting that we have played a while.

I'd encourage everyone to get their badges.

It's taken me a while to get the ones I have, in the meantime my K: D and points per minute have suffered. However I recently stopped working towards badges I'm now a point scoring fool on the feild. :-)

Why? Spawn, drop a bunch of medic packs, pickup the dead support kit throw those out, back to medic, jump in TOW kill advancing enemy HUMMER, run over revive teammate, run up hill, awh dead already (engineer) ... mine road, pick up kit, Command squad, carry on, couple minutes later BOOM [vjs] claymore [unlucky] humm when did I do that?

Point is get all the badges, then you know how stuff works and won't spend all your time in a tank/APC on Karkland.


Anyways CONGRATS DUDE, now up that kill number and repeat... don't say it was easy later.

I just went into a knife/pistol server and got mine in about 15 minutes. I had 16 deaths to my 8 knife kills so it was tough. But although it said in-game I had received the award, and I finished the round (on a rated server) I haven't seen it show up in my stats yet. The kills are there, but the badge is not.

I also got my knige basic and vet badge at same time, got basic pistol and vet pistol in same round as well.  When u get the 5 kills for basic pistol, and know u have the 50+ kills already, keep goin for 2 more and get that vet badge out of the way.    Also, you don't have to be prone to kill a prone target, a simple crouch will do as well.

I agree with you.  So far the only kit I've not been able to get 20 kills with NOT in armor is the ENGY.  I don't do a lot of mining and I haven't played it alot.  I'm going for vet AT right now but I'm thinking I'll do engy next but I might try for vet first aid.

As for easy and hard.  Well, when I got my basic pistol badge, I got my 7th kill and the round ended like 20 seconds later.  I had been trying for a couple hours and had no luck.  When I finally got it I signed off because I was to psyched up to play well.

Yesterday I tried for my vet pistol and got in the first round i tried before the round was even half over.  Yeah it was easier, but I've been playing a lot longer now.  It's all relative.

lol, i killed 3 people in a Humvee, but I couldnt get the driver, using defribs. I went up to the back and the two were sitting there shooting at others, they started hitting me but then i shocked the guy on the edge. the other guy started shooting, i ducked under the car and then he moved to the fourth position (the person i just killed >.<), stood up, cleared him lol and jumped on top to the gunner.

i needed some hours for trying to get this badge and so i had exactly 50 knife kills when i got it and so i got basic and veteran at the same time it is more than i wanted i was so happy about it 

I just picked up my expert yesterday (well, really more like 3 am saturday night for me). Once you get good with a knife, just play really late at night on a 64 man server and you should have it within a few rounds. It is a lot easier to get when most of the really good players are offline, or are online but tired and/or drunk. My favorite kill of the bunch was charging an AT kit head-on and knifing him without taking any damage (okay, so I buny-hopped a little on that one...).
