Excellent writing, Talon. It was a very interesting read, and honestly, quite scary as it could very well happen.

Chapter One: MEC
The USS Essex, leading the assault, is bombed continuously by J-10s, suffering heay damage. But many marines launching in RIBs and hovercrafts capture both the North and South beachheads. A large squadron of F-35Bs eventually destroys the PLA air power, and the PLA forces, pushed back by both sides, retreat to the airfield The USMC land tanks, which decimate the PLA infantry.

Maps up for your viewing pleasure.
It's a good read and very interesting, but I doubt it would be referred to as WW3 unless the end result was a nuclear war or one of the factions dominating another
P.S. - I'd prefer you to say the President, or merely the United States instead of saying "Bush is forced to......."

the MEC speak arabic, not persian. they aint iranian
I'm pretty sure the MEC's most important member was believed to be Iran (at least that's what most players believed) and the whole Arabic language thing is probably just an F up.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

I thought karkand was a made up city, cause I tried to google earth/wiki it and found no results. oh well +1 anyways
Farsi uses the Arabic script (along with Urdu, Kurdish, Turkmen, Azerbaijani (in Iran), Malay, and a few others) and Iran has a fairy large Arab minority (esp. along the border with Iraq) so it's not unreasonable that a given Iranian would speak at least some Arabic.Spearhead wrote:
