Does anyone think it will be the end of bf2 when 2142 is released?

Im not so keen on futuristic games, although 2142 will prob be a good game i like bf2 because its realistic of today’s battlefield.

Because many people dont like BF2142 and find BF2 a greater game.

The new Point of Existance mod (released last night) is more likely to end BF2 vanilla than 2142. I know 2142 is just a beta but it feels so damn arcadish. I really cant stand it.

Install Point of Existance and see for yourself. I may never play vanilla bf2 again. My god that is one beautiful mod. I couldnt stop grinning for 2 hours. Maybe even better than the original.

It wont die. 2142 is an entirely different game. People who like real life warfare will play bf2. Im pretty sure more people like realism then stupid mech warriors and flying saucers flying aroung and killing robots.
