doubt it would be very popular. people have already played BF:V so the only new thing it would introduce is nicer graphics which isnt much of a hook really.
Funny, Vietnam had poorer graphics, but at least EA didn't mess everything up once the patched it...

they already made it but with BF1942 standards. I really liked flying the huey, liked the maps, the weapons of that war...
i'd rather have a new vietnam bf than 2146 or whats the number...
It would be cool if i could play some JUDAS PRIEST while flying around in the heli.
I think they should remake BF1942 and BF Vietnam with ranks, unlocks, new game engine, new features + more weapons, and with 2142 style customizable kits. Oh, and moveable carriers ala Titans

for me vietnam was allot more fun to play .with bf2 all the artillery /tanks is just not my thing its a good game but man i bored of tanks apc and all that stupid artillery stuff i just want to get in the jungle and fight
with me guns .
im sure many people would like bfv again as it was the best bf game imo
and as for 2142 well dice i not being funny but they shat on us with bfv by not supporting the bfv comunity and leaveing us with a half harted update and never give us anything back ( so what they saying is we got ya money and cya , thx DICE)
maybe we should get a petition goin to get bfv back because its still the best bf game for me and realy
dont care for modern warfare stuff from EA as they just keep rushing out there games with shed loads of bugs and half the time never fix it

Porting old maps to newer engines is a traditional Battlefield concept. I, for one, would like to see more than Wake Island carried into BF2.
There was also an official "WW2" mod for Battlefield Vietnam that brought in some old 1942 maps and vehicles, and added a new one. It was free. Now, however, EA charges for the slightest modifications if they have three maps. What a scam, eh? Hook people on stats servers, then charge for new rankable content.
