just curious, how do you run ur video settings???

i was in a nationally ranked clan and they ran their settings all weird but the settings allowed you to see enemies clear as day. i forgot the settings so im wondering if any of you have any suggestions

yeah about video settings... some people have videosettings wich you can see over 500m with sniper.
can someone tell me wich settings you need for maximum view distance

Not trying to be a tard, but why can't you ask one of your former clan members?  I mean, only they would know how they did their settings ... we could only guess at their settings.

@Terror: Under the video settings, slide the viewing distace bar to 100%. Mines at 75%, any higher and I'd have lag yippee.

View distance on 100%
Geometry on High (lets you see dynamic objects further)
Resolution as High as you can go with your video card

(Some would say to also turn the lighting to high, but I don't like people hiding in the shadows).

Tomorrow my 2nd gigabyte of ram will arrive

then i got:
2 gig ram
7900gt TOP edition
3ghz P4 processor
160GB harddisk 7200rpm

will this be enough to run the hungry bf2 on high? im running medioum/high now.. with the 2nd gig it must run high high LOL...
