man...i am just a bit blown away.

i seem to have gotten old in bf2 and i don't really understand the job of an admin anymore...

WHAT EXACTLY IS AN ADMINS JOB!?

I kick for forced teamkills, teamkills that were on purpose, fighting commanders, cartillery (only on the assest), excessive pad raping (usually when the person has done it 6 or 7 times non-stop), carrier raping, artillery on the carrier, ramming, and I kick dickheads. But I've been on some servers where I got banned for being a Major (Man that was a long time ago), I've been kicked for stealing the Blackhawk when I was MEC on Mastuur city (AFTER they nerfed the guns ). I've been kicked for killing the admin several times on the Great Wall (With my FAMAS = BEST GUN IN THE GAME!). I've been kicked for taking the admin's F15 on Taraba Quarry (Spelling?). And everyone's favorite, kicked for teamkilling (Even when you never got one...)

but like, admins pay for the server, right?~~so doesn't that give them the right to kick/ban people for getting into THEIR jet/tank/helo/commander spot?

There are other admins others on my server, so its not like I'm gonna go ban the guy the guys that gets to the J10 before me (NOT that I ever would). Anyways I tend to like F35s better, much better on the handling and I usually try to avoid engaging the J10s. Yeah I think the worst kick I ever did was when the commander wouldn't stop with the "Enemy Infintry Spotted!!!." Our whole team was yelling for him to shut up so I finally kick him for "Excessive non-stop Commander Spam"

Kick for camping the carrier. BAH

I agree that quite a few admins need to stop taking things so personally and be more objective. Their reponsibiliy is to do what's best for the server and its player. This may be a very, very idealistic version of an admin, but oh well...

Not that I'm a fan of the ROE, but I'm sure theres something in there about abusive admins doing that sort of thing.

But anyway, if they do that sort of thing and you get kicked, leave the server, and go play on one of the other +1000 servers out there.

Other day I was on Angry Angels Squadron or something. I was commanding, and quit after 30 seconds because no one was paying attention. Mind you, I was DONE commanding.

I musta killed an Admin or something, because a few minutes later (while I was NOT commanding) I get banned for using cartillery. While NOT commanding.
