Hi, ive forgotten my password to my nick. when i use the forgot password thingy, all i get is the password for gamespy and not my account in bf2, Plz help.
shouldn't those two be the same ? as far as I know, your BF2 account is basically a gamespy account.
for example I used my old gamespy account as my BF2 account ( created years before BF2 came out ), and it worked fine.

i friend of mine had the same problem. I called EA for him and they told me something like "his account is stuck in between two servers". The account dept. was supposed to contact me within 48 hours, but its about 200 hours later and no call. So i guess your best bet is to call EA tech support and have all of your info handy as well as when this problem occured.
DO NOT CALL EA THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU THEY DO NOT HAVE ADMIN TOOLS TO RETRIAVE YOUR PASSWORD YOUR BEST BET IS TO GO TO - My Documents-Batllfeild 2-profiles and look for your pro file *EXAMPLE -- 001, 002*****THEEN GO TO PROFILES AND LOOK FOR THE EMAIL U USED THEN GO BACK IN GAME AND GO TO ACCOUNT RETRIEVAL AND PASSSWORD WILL BE SENT TO THAT ADRESS

ive tried all of my 3 email accounts and had the password sent to them, and i still get the message that invalid , wrong password , bla bla.
its crazy. in desperation i deleted all acounts on my local pc, but i have retrived em before, now it wont work.
Guess ill have to start over again ;((((((((((((((((((
