Vehicle Respawn Times?

Well, i've searched around and i couldn't find any guides which say what the exact respawn time is for every vehicle on every map in BF2. So unless there is already a guide i'll go and make one. I've always wanted to know the respawn times for......various reasons.

This topic is basically asking if there is such a guide out there, if there isn't i'll try my best to get one out as soon as possible.

Ok, i was gonna do that. But i figured i'd post about it and see if something already exists, i'm not gonna waste time doing something that is already out there. Although i'd be more than happy to do it.

Seem to remember someone posting your respawn time as 15 seconds and the vehicle additional 15 second but that have to vary on different vehichles cause i never got a plane after 15 seconds after my spawn ?

that would be sweet! i've kind of wondered it myself, but i sort of know all that i need to know (tank spawn times)

i can tell you one thing, all tanks has about a 20ish second respawn on all maps except Mashtuur... i haven't yet figured out how the game determines respawn for the tanks on that map

Not only does it vary by vehicle type, but it varies by map and army too. Just because the Cobra respawns on Sharqi in 30 seconds doesn't mean it respawns on Wake in 30 seconds too.

Changes on every map, example choppers/planes take a year and a half to respawn on wake where as on maps like Dragon they spawn almost instantly.

nah, it's faster than that, i'm STILL a tank whore, and i know that an Abrams always spawns a few seconds after you spawn, on any map, for any army

I think the Cobra spawns the fastest on Clean sweep. Takes really long on Wake Island on the Carrier.

Yeah the carrier is real bad on wake with attack helis.

They do vary a lot. The US tank on Karkand is only about 15sec, if you die in it you can run to grab it again. But on many other maps it's closer to 30sec and even more sometimes. A definitive guide would have to include all maps and all vehicles because it is in no way consistent. So good luck with that.

Check in /mods/bf2/levels and open up each maps server.zip file, look in there for GamePlayObjects.con file and open it in notepad...there you can see all vehicle spawn times. It may be a bit confusing but if you know what you're looking for it should be easy.

I went to the 16 player Dalian Plant gameplayobjects.con file just to check it out and went through the whole thing, basically, for each vehicle it says this:

It's in the same file, just in a different location in the file. Look around some more.
