Ok i dont usualy ask help when it comes to BF2, but this has my head messed up Here is the Patch failed info

i am not sure i can help, but did u ever modify any files?
By the way what was your version (before patch) and what patch did u try to apply?

I reinstalled Full windows XP and reformatted my PC

Patch before was 1.4 beta

The game is fresh install only patch its letting me install is 103 and thats it any other patch I install gives me Patch Failed Error message I click OK it said patch complete but i know its not.

I tried all my tricks non seem to work

Try this Boris, it's fixed soooooo many of my computer issues, it's not even funny. Download subinacl and run it. Download it Here

Open Notepad and paste this:

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=administrators=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=system=f
subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=system=f

and save as reset.cmd in the following directory: c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\

Then, open a comand prompt and type:

cd\ <enter> (enter just means press enter)

cd\ "C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools" <enter>

reset.cmd <enter>

This will reset your registry permissions back to full control

The run a registry fix program like Registry Mechanic or Crap Cleaner

This only takes a few minutes to complete so give it a shot for me and let me know if it helps you bro-
