Oh please, some of us can't even play 5 minutes before we get connection errors, I got a 10 mb line but I still get kicked out and the first time you can play for some time, the second time you get a shorter time limit, the third time you only got like 5 minutes, last time you don't even get the chance to spawn.(At least for me)
If you keep getting connection problem you'll end up on your desktop and it's not really that fun if you can't get up your rank or even get the chance to kill someone. I killed a few people with the overpowered Guard tower(Yes, 2 shots are way to powerfull and if you sit in one of them an APC have big problems to take out the person in it, I know I spray the whole cockpit full of bullets yet the guy shot of the laser that killed me.) and it was fun. Since no one even attacked back. XD


I was able to get a Beta Key and I gladly downloaded the game. Sure it was fun to test the game but then again I knew shit about it. So I did like all noobs do screwed around with the tanks/choppers/cars and each time I got killed by someone who knew how to handle it. XD Failing is the best way to learn things and please THERE IS NO SINGLE PLAYER so we can only train on the Multiplayer servers.

And I know it's beta but this connection problem is just getting a bit silly imo. How do they think you are suposed to test it if it keep kicking you out?

But I will give it some more tries but if they don't fix those connection problem when the new game comes out I'm not gonna buy it.

Also they REALLY REALLY need to make those puffs when you shoot your weapon into a building smaller, for crying out loud they are like smoke grenades. >.>

Yea but it's no fun I wanna test the power againts soldiers to.

Also it seemed to work hella of lot better the second time I started it.

The point of Beta testing is so Companies can improve the game from good constructive, mature criticism.  Mature means that a bunch of whiners shouldn't sign up for the beta because they want an early look at the game.  It should be for people that are willing to participate in creating an all round better experience for player.  I would rather have these people testing the Beta because then it will not seem the consumer will be wasting 60 CDN dollars on a buggy program.  I don't want to be installing 500 MByte patches.

1 uninstall
2 delete your c/documents and setting/yourusername/documents/battlefield2 folder
3 re install
4 dl the FULL 1.4 patch
5 install it and it should work.

Why try Empty servers? I want moving targets who are either newbs or know what they are doing.

Seems like the original poster is doing the complaining or one of the ones that he is annoyed about.... BF2142 is for kids, So kids will continue to play it, so adapt to thier behavior. Personally I think the game is all hyped up, its basically crap.

Don't you guys know? Any game made by Dice after they associated with EA is a permanent beta.

great post, 12 year olds should test anything. The point of a beta is to find the problems in the game not get points- winning and loosing mean nothing.
