I wonder how many people on here and other war game related websites say there are in the military or have been in the military just so they think there are cool and try to make out they know what they are talking about are relay only kids, i mean any-one can say there were in the forces, all you have to do is look thing's up on the Internet and add them to your post, no-one knows you for real you can say what you want can't you, i could say i was in the royal marines you do not know if i am telling the truth or not , i say this because i have read some post and having spent some time in the British army along with most my family, some people talk about thing's we would never discus between ourself let alone put them on websites, so it make me think there are some kids on there that like to think they are real men by saying they were in the forces. I know weird post but just got to thinking about it last night. P.S And yes i know the irony in the post i say i was in the military i may not be telling the truth either, but i do not mind if you do not believe my i know what i did and have done so it does not matter.and this is just a general post i wanted to put up i am in no way having a go at anyone just want to know what other people think about it

As for those pretending to be in the military, Ive seen tons of people say they were "ex" military, yet they seem to be a little to young for the military...
As for other on line games, AA is the only you know for sure, as you need some sort of number from your military record in order to get the icon next to your name.

Sorry to repost it, and to add punctuation, but he has a valid point really - if you actually read what he says...I wonder how many people on here, and other war game related websites, say there are in the military or have been in the military. Just so they think there are cool and try to make out they know what they are talking. But about are really only kids. I mean, anyone can say there were in the forces: all you have to do is look thing's up on the Internet and add them to your post. No-one knows you for real, you can say what you want, can you not?
I could say I was in the royal marines. You do not know if i am telling the truth or not. I say this because having read some post, and having spent some time in the British army (along with most my family). Some people talk about thing's we would never discus between ourself let alone put them on websites.
So it make me think there are some kids on there that like to think they are real men by saying they were in the forces. I know weird post but just got to thinking about it last night.
P.S And yes I know the irony in the post - I say 'I was in the military' - I may not be telling the truth either... but I do not mind if you do not believe me, I know what I did and have done, so it does not matter. is open to correcting my punctuation - I'm not expert...

Really, not relay.
Anyone, not any-one.
Things, not thing's.
Discuss, not discus.
Ourselves, not ourself.
Geez dude, has the GCSE standard plummeted that much since I did them?!
I was a Sonar Technician Submarines - USS Chicago SSN 721, for 5 years. STS2(SS) was my rank when I left.
