I know meths is good as it evaporates. Plus its acute alcohol so you can suck the tissue and get pissed too.

Don't use a foam cleaner or anything designed to clean a CRT screen. These will eat the surface of your screen and make it go cloudy.
There are specific LCD screen cleaners out there, I know Sony do one for their LCD TVs, but failing that just a damp cloth will do it, but do not leave any water on the screen as it can be sucked into the screen through capillary action and ruin it.

i use a hammer,
