I used to play CS 1.5 and 1.6 before BF2.

I loved the game and only stopped playing it because i lost my cd key.
But then there was BF2 soooo much better than CS anyday.

I think you have to be more aware of what is going on around you on bf,and alot more pratice to master tanks/plane/chopper and all the infantry classes.

CS its was either AK or M4 with snipers not much difference each game.
MP5 FTW loved this gun for running through people.

I had a rough time getting into BF2 from CSS and CS 1.6. It was wierd at first. A friend of mine just started playing BF2 at first I saw him almost totally clueless. Now he has my back and started playing like a decent player and things are only looking better since he is improoving with each game. CS players are more successful in this game once they get a grip on whats going on but doing that takes at least 50 hours depending on the player.

Using claymores requires ZERO skill.
Partially true. Using them, yeah, thats easy. Using them effectively, however, is a different story. I can't count the number of times my engineer has disabled badly placed claymores. I also have many times set up claymores such that I can kill more than one guy at a time. Similar story with mines, which I so often see spammed uselessly. You can block off most routes with 2, yet I all the time see 5 placed to cover a small road, or spammed all over the middle of flag cap areas...
