My BFG 6600GT is a warrior. Comes pre overclocked and for the price I payed for it I am tottaly happy.

1280x1024
Most stuff high.
Lightning Medium
Dynamic Shadows Medium
Dynamic Lightning Low

Runs most maps no problem. I can run CSS and other games no prob. The BFG 66s require bigger Power Supplies though.

Had a gforce 6600 built into my computer, worked fine on a 300 watt power supply, and there was almost no difference when I upgraded to a 480 watt.  Other then not being a electricity whore the 6600 blows.  If you can upgrade to a pci express card, any are much better then the 6600 and some have gotten pretty cheap recently.

I have one. The game runs fine for me on medium/low, the only thing that's holding me back is my RAM. 768Mb just isn't enough.

you're most likely not connecting a cable directly to the video card. Look on the opposite end of all the connections on your graphics card and there's probably a small four pin connector, or a big one like on hard drives. Be sure to connect that up.

although it says that in the manual. So read that.

I had nothing in my 6600GT box except the card, had no idea how to fit it.

Noticed a connector on the side of the card, and a few loose cables hanging about doing nothing with the same connector. Stuck one in the card, bingo.

well, as I said look in the manual it should have all the info in there. With pretty pictures too.

Otherwise, look for one of the connectors that fits into your video card in the wires directly coming from your PSU, OR, you might have a 3-point cable that plugs into your harddrive, video card, and one of the big four-pinned connectors from your PSU.
