Hi all, noticed the activity on this forum and decided to ask this here too.

The problem is that we are having a LAN party soon. Is there any way to play in LAN without having Internet-connection?

If you have some solutions, please post. And I'm sorry if this is smth that has been discussed before, I'm relatively new to the game.

you dont need to have internet access to play a lan game, but you do need a physical (or wireless) network between the pc's

Well, how can i pass the "login to account" part? As from pure lan i cannot login to my account.

You can only use a single player account, in 1.4 i think you might be able to create a local server that allows unlocks (Finaly)

Go create account at the account login in screen and select Singleplayer instead of multiplayer, then under the multiplayer menu go create local and your friends go under multiplayer > find local to find your server. make sure you have the same patches otherwise they wont see your server nor will they be able to join.

Hamachi perhaps?  I used it a few times with my clan, but it may not be the solution to your problem.  Doesn't matter, it looks like your problem has been solved...btw, welcome to bf2s!

Plug all the cables in a box (router or something else ) Create workgroup look at ur network settings that everything is setted on "finding auto ip. or something like that, or router ip etc.)
