And as most veteran BF2 players will remember.......every BF2 patch that has ever been released has had the same reactions as the latest patch has.  "OMG the PKM PWNZ EVERYTHING! WTF!"  "Only 8 Rockets? WTF!"  "The BH guns cant kill anything!  ZOMG!", or "I CANT SHOOT WHEN I JUMP? Im gonna go kill myself".  These rants carry on for a few weeks, and then eventually die out, because everybody has either eventually adapted to the new gameplay mechanics, or simply stopped playing.  Then a new patch will come along, and the cycle will repeat. 

So.....accept the changes and adjust accordingly as soon as possible.  The faster we all do this, the faster we can all start having fun again.  If not, then stop playing BF2.

And to introduce new maps, and occasionally a weapon. This game however has to fucking change a major part of the game for the worse with EVERY DAMN PATCH. I guess its EA's welfare patch for the weak, the people who are inable to gain any skill at this game, so you cry to EA to make the game easier for you. The ppl that have played since day 1 should be the  people who should be giving EA/DICE recommendations on what to include in the next patch, not a bunch of whiny cumguzzling fuckoffs who got the game a week ago and find it to hard to play.

Exactly. What the hell are you talking about "Adapt or Die", ADAPT TO WHAT? No more cartillery, and bunnyhopping? OH NOES!@! As far as I'm concerend I don't have to adapt to anything because I didn't rely on fag tactics like that in the first place. +1 for 1.4

Get chopper, feeling down still, crash on purpose... Play infantry for a bit, no teamwork. Quit out of anger after the round, I now feel emo because of this patch .

That was my 1.4 day, it sucked. Hopefully it's better tomorrow, and if you read that all, you get a cookie.

I also adapt easily with every new patch, but this put me down for an hour, not because of the changes, but because of the actions of that one noob, and the disconnects.
