Dunno if this has been posted already, I did a bit of a seach but I couldn't see it, so here goes.
Occasionally when I play BF2 I get these random "There is a problem with your internet connection" errors popping up, then I get disconnected from the server. Game does not crash, but I have to go and re-join the server. Anyways, I noticed the problem gets a lot worse when I have a couple mates over, rarely able to finish a round.
So I thought it might be a problem with the router (it is a netgear FWG114P), and I noticed that it was reporting in the logs that there was a UDP flood on port 16568. Netgear routers have this feature where they can block UDP floods, so I turned that off and it seems to be OK.
Has anyone else noticed this? I'm not sure if I've fixed it or its just a coincidence. Any feedback will be appreciated. (this is on patch 1.3 btw - I have not tried the 1.4 yet)
