Haha. Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess. Fixing BHing and DDing isn't a nerf. They aren't taking a tool or strategy they purposely implemented into the game then changed it later, like my precious blackhawk. hehe. They are exploits and are being (at least trying to be) removed.

Someone did mention that it takes skill to keep you aim while DDing and BHing. True or not. Both tactics are considered exploits in the eyes of the developers. They made the game, they make the rules. If it wasn't then they would try to fix it.

As for anyone with the, "I payed $50 bucks I can play how I want."

So everyone that pays to enter a gaming competition can play how they want and us any third party software (hack) they want. So every player that pay $10,000 to play in the WSOP (world series of poker) can "do what they want" regardless of what the rules are? Every time you log in it means you are in agreement with the EULA and ROE. Using the games mechanics in a way unintended by the developers to give yourself an unfair advantage in the game is an exploit.

Things like this will never stop. People will always find ways to exploit the system. If I can just get one person to rethink their tactics and, play the way it's meant to be I'll be happy.


p.s. I wish you could record how many times someone jumps in the stats. Maybe EA could make a bunny badge.

They made infantry gameplay amazingly laggy ang glitchy with their mission to stop bunny hopping...
I'd rather have the 1.0 patch, back then playing the game was fun

Whats funny is how some of you think that EA changed features in the game to make evasive movement impossible. Yes EA added a little fluff, but those of us with skill are still owning the shit out of u noobs by actually MOVING when were being shot at.

Its just so predictable. Everybody hates the dolphin diving pronespamming skilled players when they are just starting out because they dont even have a small chance of surviving against them. Then they either get good and stop complaining, or they thickheadedly never improve and just noobishly parade their 1.0 Kill:Death ratio forever.

and seriously..... Go through this thread and look at the weapon stats of the people that hate bunnyhoppers. Clearly none of them are capable of shooting bunnyhoppers so they just cry.

BF2 is competitive. It is not a movie. So stop crying about realism. If BF2 were a movie, then we would all agree that people should never be allowed to land shots directly after being hit. Sure its POSSIBLE in-game to take a bullet to the face, but then unflinchingly gun down three opponents, hop up, and run a km across the map. But we all know this is so UNREALISTIC so we should all agree that NOBODY in BF2 should attempt such an impossible feat. Just suicide if you get on an unrealistic streak like this... I also think that when a person slides down the ladder on a tall building, they should suicide when they get to the bottom. Have you ever watched one of these slides? I mean fucking splat is all I'm seeing in the real world... The mere fact that these people slide down ladders makes the game seem "gay" and it makes me so mad when I'm killed by a ladder slider right after such unrealistic acrobatics. Y'know what else is unrealistic? The damage done by GL rounds. Any time somebody narrowly misses you with one, you should just be honest and suicide, because you know that IRL that shit would have blown your ass to pieces.

Of course none of you noobs ever do any one of these things in the name of realism or to make the game "look less gay" because in reality you are just trying to win and you dont want to impose this disadvantage on yourself. You also hate how people that move always have an advantage over you. So you might try to learn how to do it if you have hand eye coordination. or you might just continue complaining about people that are better than you if you truly suck. But spare me this crap about preserving realism in the one instance where something unrealistic in BF2 ISNT for the benefit of no-skill noobs. You either learn to play the game or you lose and cry about it. (which you should know is quite a reward for the adults on the other team).

It's not about adaptation, the good players already did and so did I. It's about the game that got nerfed, making it less fun to play. That's what it's all about, fun.
EA listened to the majority, as a capitalist company should do to get the most money. The majority are the people playing, say, at max 2 hours a day to relieve stress from work. But instead of getting fun, they are constantly killed by the minority. The minority are the players that play this game on a constant basis, learned everything to max out their scores and are willing to adapt constantly to changing situations ingame. They used the pronespam because it maxed out their scores and k/d-rates. So did I.

As Sarge mentioned in his topic, this patch did not only nerf the pronespam, but it did also nerf the quickness of infantry combat. And that's the thing I believe no-one with a bit of common sense should agree with. Because your chances of surviving a rain of grenades are lets say... nihil when you're lying on the ground and trying to flee away, when having to wait 3 secs before you can even start moving. This example is one of the many things that not only pronespamming is now gone, but the complete infantry got nerfed.

This is unacceptable, however I'm still playing because I like this game, although EA nerfed it quite bad. No problem, adapt and overcome... but the game will never be as good as it was before... think about that, please.


Oh and spawncamping tankwhores, I salute you, you'll probably having much more fun now, since people can't jump away anymore from your tanks... have fun.

It's cute that you think this game should be anything like CS in the first place, though.

They said they nerfed it because it was being abused and that's what happen when you overuse an thing. It's also the fastest way to get something nerfed, Overuse it A LOT.

Now I really dun care when they changed it because I just adapted to not be using it. Like good people do.
