Take your own advice, in the community update it said it's for BF2. In common_client.zip, there are 3 taunt.ogg sounds. All maniacal laughing =/ryan_14 wrote:

After much anticipation the new patch featuring the new "Road to Jalalabad" map which is sponsored by Comcast is available for download. Meanwhile in the Battlefield 2142 tuning beta we are working at a furious pace to incorporate player feedback into our development. Players have commented on all aspects of 2142. The recently announced Veterans Program gives everyone who has played Battlefield 2 the ability to reserve a soldier name and receive an immediate boost in rank so that they are able to hit the field running. Many of you have established an identity as premiere players on the sandy streets of Karkand or in the skies above Wake Island. This is your opportunity to continue building your legacy in a whole new Battlefield! Veterans also receive an exclusive in-game indicator of their Veterans status and a special verbal taunt in BF2 together with patch 1.4.
