Well this week was a special week. We had to learn about job interviews and read a book etc. Then the last day the military came and told us about their work. We went into a big truck where they talked about the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was all fun, but then they said that we should go outside and see their equipment. Sounds nice. Well we saw their jeep and combat equipments, and then there were some kick ass guns. A carbine a LSW and so on. Well I took one of them. I was sure that it were colts all of them, but he said that they were developed by a Canadian company, that had gotten the license from Colt. Well they were really cool and my buddies went around with those weapons pretended to shoot each other. A really nice job the soldiers did.
did you get to fire the guns?
Sounds cool. When i was at college the Marines came and showed us their SA80's and did lots of teambuilding exercises. Good chaps in the millitary.
lol school kids fireing guns
No! The safety has to be in top. Sadly. Maybe then I could mistakenly have shot a teacher. Damn.
When you say you took one, did you mean that you took one home from the display?
Its always pretty cool to see the stuff they bring out. The Army recruiters here have this decked out humvee. But the Air Force has a better one, they have an H2, with 2 LCDs in the back, as well as about five 12" subs in the back. Its pretty kick ass.

Well he said that the Canadian version was better than the American one. More accuracy and more reliable when we are talking about it getting jammed.
any other fancy stuff u saw?
Its called recruiting.
I was in JROTC in High School and the Marines came in and parked a souped up Hummer in the lot. It had an awesome paint job and stereo that was pumping. We all were herded out into the parking lot and the message was, "Join the Marines, and look what you can drive."
Nothing personal and nothing against the troops, but leave the 16 year olds alone please.

Just their normal equipment, and I think he also came with grenades.

Lets see was at the races one day (PIR) and the army had a booth set up and firing range, now that was fun.
Then back in 4th grade we had a military historian come in, he had some dud granades and showed us how to use them... 4th graders learning how to throw granades... wow. They wouldn't let that happen now-a-days.

i love the c7's (thats the gun they had) and they didn't need a licence from colt (not trying to debate just saying) its different enuf so they couldn't get sued
