hello everyone, i am writing this thread which will be one of my last threads that i will write.
my Bf2 career spans one year , longer than any Multiplayer game i have played. ihad my share of good times and bad times. times where i loose badly and royally, and times where i am unstopable.
I started my career as a scout sniper. yes i still love my m95 which was my first unlock. sneaking into main uncapturable bases and shooting through glass of a j-10 gives me the smiles. i was a decent sniper with a 50%+ accuracy. as a sniper i did not get tthat many kills, i usually send informationto my squad mates and commander via VOIP. Most of my time i did recon. soon i earned myfirst basic sniper badge and silver medal.
i met some good players in this game , even though some were not in a squad, they managed to help me and others capture flags., provide ammo and health and cover fire. back then it was about winning, not how big someone's body count was.
yes i had crappy stats and not a heafty amount of awards. over time i improved my game.
i tried out many classes after that , assault was awsome with lots of firepower, support with unlimited ammo, medic got nice rifles and shockpaddles to help fallen comrads, and engineer, well fixes stuff and drops anti vehicle mines all over the place. and antitank where i can snipe at a tank with a SRAW or an Eryx.
but there is one class in this game that has defined my career as a BF2 soldier... SPECIAL OPS.. and it was a class that i had a hard time to adjust, but in the end was the most satisfying for me.
With a spec ops,i can snipe like a sniper thanks to a very accurate G36c/ G36K. i can run and gun to some degree like an assault. and i can antitank with C4 , its fun to see tanks explode like ballons after you push the magical button on your detinator. that really puts a smile on my face. and even i feel more happier when the dude inside the tank scratches his head and bangs onhis keyboard saying " WTF happened."
me being spec ops all the time means that i have to be decisive and very smart. My main job when iplay a match is to avoid detection at all cost. hiding in bushes, buildings, trees, rocks, you name it. Infiltration is the key to my success.
I try to take out my oponents when they least expected, mostly from behind. but sometimes you have to shoot your way out of a bad situation. SInce my carbine is weaker, its hard for me to do that. so i lay c4 near chokepoints so when i draw them to the trap....well its all over for them.
i played for a long time the special forces expansion pack. being spec ops there was alot more easy for me because i did not have to deal with soo many armor. there are soo many ways to approach a captured flag.
as a spec ops, i did things indirectly, if my enemy is comming from the south. i hide in the east and when they pass me, i start shooting at them. sometimes i can get as much as 15 kills without being seen.
i am a natural ground pounder and very talented too. once in a while i use armor just to have fun. but i do things on foot to make myself less detectable and conspicous .
the one thing i love to do is sneak into a base . put two charges of C4 under their apc or tank or vodnik. hide in a very good spot. and when i see someone take the vehicle, KABOOM. instant kill. I would rather wait 2 min for a one shot sure kill than get killed 3 times in a row just for one kill.
i try to C4 something as much as i can. that is why i try to learn my maps to my best of my ability.
right now i barely play anymore... school started and i have lots to learn for my first test.. and if i have insulted someone in the past in this forum or in the game... i appologize for that.
take care soldiers......... and if you like.. you can look at my stats. i dont care if they suck, as long as i have fun.
